We have partnered up with endurance coach and incredible Canadian athlete, Jen Segger, to bring you closer to your goals. Whether you are new to running, and experienced veteran or looking to get into a new sport, Jen has your goals covered.
Jen has experience in Trail Running, adventure racing, expedition racing and triathlon. She has also completed her sport nutrition certification to complete the full training experience. Jen works with you and your individual schedule to work towards your goals.
Jen is excited to be involved with Run Like a Girl and join the amazing global running community of woman who are coming together to grow, support and get after it together. Trail or road, LET’S DO THIS!!!!
Today, Jen is a full time endurance coach through her business “Challenge By Choice”. Many of her athletes are training with a particular race in mind. Some are new to running. Some are veterans. Regardless of one’s goals, Jen works with athletes around the globe preparing runners, triathletes, mountaineers and cyclists in reaching their full potential. She is known for her customized programming and elite expertise where each athlete receives ongoing personalized, periodized training, coaching and positive guidance.
Jen has been coaching for over a decade, bringing forth years of experience and ongoing professional growth to ensure she is at the forefront of athletic development. Rest assured that when you train with Jen you will be ready when your goal day arrives. Jen is a certified endurance coach, strength coach and holistic sport nutritionalist.
In addition to coaching, Jen runs an indoor cycling studio, a project that she started in 2015 in order to cater to the growing number of bikers in Squamish, BC. She continues to race and travel extensively, and when time permits, assists her husband Norm Hann in a guiding role with his SUP expeditions. Jen, Norm and son Kiel, choose the coast mountains of BC as their home.
