I really like avocado. I also really like chocolate. How about a chocolate, avocado healthy mousse? How could you go wrong! This recipe is gluten free, vegan and paleo friendly… and best of all, it’s delicious!
Ingredients:
1/3 cup honey
2 avocados
4 oz dark chocolate (I like 70%)
1/3 cup organic cocoa powder
1 tbsp organic cocoa nibs (mince as small as possible)
3 tbsp coconut oil
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate pieces, coconut oil and honey in a sauce pain on the stove for 5 minutes on medium.
2. Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the avocados and cocoa powder in a blender or a food processor and blend till smooth.
3. Stir in by hand the cocoa nibs
4. Place in a mason jar to chill over night
