15 DAYS OF JOURNALING to Write.
Writing feels so good. It was hard to start at first because, maybe like you, my mind is moving at a million miles a minute, my hand couldn't keep up. But I have let writing take hold of my time, and my hand, recently and have discovered it actually helps slow down my mind. Maybe you are looking to start writing as a way of connecting with yourself, sharing your thoughts, creating space in your mind for new thoughts, or sharing some of your imagination with the world.
I know it can be overwhelming to get started, because where do you even start. It can feel silly. But we need to just start.
Below is my guide to start when it feels like to much. I hope you find enjoyment and space in writing.
Tip - I do recommend using a pen or pencil and paper rather then typing. But if typing is more helpful for you to get started then every way is welcomed.

If you are having a hard time focusing, try and find a quiet space. For some of us this may be in the home but for some this may be outside of the home. A coffee shop, a park, a library. Try different spaces and see what works for you.
I also find that when I am listening to podcasts or even at the gym or on a run I get amazing ideas and thoughts I want to keep so I carry a small notebook around with me. You can also use your notes app on your phone but I am trying to be less on my phone so a little notebook and pen is great to keep around!
