Event Information

How This Event Works

The Canyon to Coast Event has been created to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and to showcase the incredible Fraser River, Cheam Mountain Range and Chilliwack's surrounding landscapes. It is a family friendly event! Your registration includes a finishers gift, a $5.00 donation to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, your event bib, finish line food and lots of fun!

Note this is not a chip timed event, however we do track finish times at the finish line.

Community, support and celebration this is what our events are all about. We believe that we can change peoples lives with those three elements. Help us support local organizations that are doing amazing things for others!

Local Event:
Join us at our local event starting and finishing at Island 22 Regional Park in Chilliwack on June 7th, 2025. Less than 5 km from Chilliwack’s historic downtown.

  • All participants receive a finisher’s gift!
  • You choose to run a marathon, 21km, 11k or 4km distance.
  • There is a limit of 200 participants for 2025
  • Registration closes when we reach 200 participants or June 2nd.
  • Bring the family, we will have a reading picnic area!

Virtual Event:
If you do not live locally or cannot make it to the local event, then you can register for the Virtual Event and run your chosen distance or time wherever you live! All participants receive a finisher’s gift!

Your event package is mailed to you and will arrive before June 7, 2025. This gives you the option to help us raise money and awareness, run or hike where you live, (maybe create a group run with friends?!), and we can all run together around the world on the same day!

Your registration fee includes your bib number, a finishers gift, a $5.00 donation to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and shipping.

Important: Registration for our Virtual Runners closes April 1, 2025 so that we have time to mail your package to you before event day.

Join us in the beautiful Island 22 Regional Park. Island 22 is home to urban trails, which connect to the Canyon to Coast trail system. We have created a route that runs along the Canyon to Coast trail following along side the Fraser River. Your views are going to embrace the river, surrounding mountains including the Cheam Range, farm lands and wildlife.
